 "Original horse and animal art""My HorsesMy love of horses its obvious to most. Whilst living in Zimbabwe i was involved with everything horse. I. had my first riding lesson on my 6th birthday and was hooked ever since, these majestic beasts are a gift to us, their beauty and intelligence are second to none. I was involved with gymkhanas polocross dressage, cross country and harness racing, and best of all the plain old fashioned ride into the bush. there nothing more exhilarating than a gallop across the bush through the long grass or through the maize fields. Ah those were the days. i tutored many students and loved being involved with the kids finding their way and discovering how to work in harmony with these wonderful animals. Welcome to my brand new website.Hello i am Julie Laugharne the artist behind furry art, I am a true animal lover in every way. My art reflects my love of all things furry, I specialize in equine art, dogs, cats etc. It's been my life's ambition to be a full time artist but it never happened. I spent most of my life working hard and trying to be the best mum and wife I could be. Art was left by the wayside. Due to serious illness I was forced to retire and spent my days at home with my five chihuahuas and my white fantail doves. I hope you enjoy looking through our site. New art is added every week. Julie Laugharne Artist My DogsDogs are my other love in life, over the years i have had many faithful souls by my side. i currently have 5 chihuahuas all with different personalities, ages ranging from 17 to 4. i did a little showing with my dogs for about 5 yrs and enjoyed it while its lasted but in the end decided loving my dogs was far my important than showing them off.
